How it all started.
I am presently 19 and have been sewing since I was seven. I had originally thought I would go into
fashion design but most of the stuff I designed was a bit too unusual for everyday wear. Then came the idea of costume
designing.
And I was wierd
I took sewing lessons as a way to hone my skills for any sewing I would do when I was about seven.
Before that I made Barbie clothes, baby doll clothes, pillows and other simple projects. I would sit and hand sew for hours
and even tried using dental floss and shredded christmas ribbon when I ran out of thread. My parents could see that I had
some talent in that area and encouraged me to keep learning.
